The world bursts at the seams with people ready to tell you you’re not good enough. On occasion, some may be correct. But do not do their work for them. Seek any job; ask anyone out; pursue any goal. Don’t take it personally when they say “no” — they may not be smart enough to say “yes”.
– Keith Olbermann
Ralph sent me that quote seeing as how it comes in handy for my current situations in life. So even though all this makes sense, and I know it's true why is it hard to grasp and come to realize? I'll tell you why, I don't like being right, I don't like rejection, and the idea of going for something your not sure of is scary, and I think most people will agree with me on that. I guess it's true what some people say, life is just one long lesson in itself and I don't think you come to find out that you've learned it all until you've already died and that's when others come to realize that you actually did learn everything, that you took all your opportunities and you made them to good use. Now I'm not saying that your going to live your whole life so others will remember you when you die, but in a sense you kind of are. When I'm gone all you people will have to remember me of is everything you knew about me, no one will read my mind, so whatever your thinking or feeling it's probably best to let it be out in the open. CENSORSHIP IN YOUR ETERNAL MIND DOES NO GOOD.
